Stefen Shady
Shady Lady
1.
What was your best memory of the 1960/70's music scene?
Wild. The 60's and the 70's was the absolute best of times. I really am sorry that all the
generations of young people that have since followed weren't able to experience those
days. The bands and the music scene from that era were the hottest and most exciting ever.
It was tons of fun and a total trip!
2. What was the best gig?
I am not sure if you are speaking of the best gig I saw or the best gig I ever performed?
Anyway, it doesn't matter because whichever would be really hard to decide on. So I won't
try to answer this question.
3. Bands you were/are in or working with?
Shady Lady (late 60's thru mid 70's), The Henchmen (early thru mid 60's)
4. What are you doing now?
I am now currently working in merchandising for a living. I've been working on a music CD
that was never released of Shady Lady and am also attempting to write a novel.
5. What are your three favorite albums and/or bands
from the 60's & 70's?
I have too many favorite albums to name just three. My favorite bands from that era are
The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.
6. What's your version of the "dream band"?
I don't have one.
7. Describe yourself in 4 words.
These are tough Q's. Let's see.... a charismatic bad boy, confident, charming,
multi-layered and ultra cool. Oops, that is way more than four words of self-flattery.
Okay, you can knock off the last few descriptives as I got carried away with me-self.
8.
Favorite meal?
Do you mean favorite meal of the day or favorite type of food? Brunch. Seafood.
9. What would you set straight in this world if you
could?
Poverty, religion and racism. If those were eliminated there would be peace on Earth.
10. Famous last words? How would you recommend
people get a hold of you? E-mail address? Web page?
Be yourself, walk the walk and treat others as you would be treated.
I can be reached via E-mail at
shadyladyrocks@sbcglobal.net and
will respond if you write "Hollywood Diaries" in the subject box otherwise I
might think it's junk mail.
