OK, I confess some of these songs I didn’t like much when they initially came out in the 1970’s but upon inserting the disk into my player, I was groovin’ on the tunes from start to end.   This CD offers up good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll. 

Glitter 4 Your Soul, the solo effort of Poison drummer, Rikki Rockett, features several artists including vocals by Gina Shock of the Go Go’s, on one of my favorite songs, Trash, a sassy and thrusting tune done originally by the New York Dolls.  Rock On is another favorite, the vocals by Eleanor Academia of The Black Swan, are quintessential rock ‘n’ roll.  Rikki Rockett’s vocals on T-Rex’s, Life’s A Gas, are haunting and perfect for this sultry tune…I want to hear more Rikki Rockett vocals!  Blues Saraceno captures the height of the guitar era with all the right notes and attitude and just the right mix of funk. This CD takes me back to the Hollywood Diaries era, when guitarists were gods and rock ‘n’ roll ruled.   

Rikki Rockett is a man who lives his passion for rock ‘n’ roll, animal rights, and art.  Thanks Rikki for bringing back some great tunes with that Rockett freshness.
